Home-Tech is a local, employee owned company, right here in SWFL. National home warranty companies have offices far, far away with call centers. When you need help from one of them you could experience long hold times or even end up talking to someone from a different country. We all know how fun that is!

We Don’t Use Sub Contractors
Anytime one of your clients calls Home-Tech for service, a uniformed well-trained technician employed by Home-Tech will come to help. We never use subcontractors. We are licensed and insured in HVAC, plumbing and electrical work. This is something that national home warranty companies just can’t give you.
Background-Checked and Drug Tested
Every employee of Home-Tech is vetted. We understand you only want to refer a trusted company to your client base. Safety is a large concern of our Membership, so we provide only background-checked and drug tested employees to do the service work. They also have their driving record checked as well.
Response Time Frame
National home warranty companies have to find a contractor to come to your client’s home to make a repair. This can take up to 48 hours for them to even find someone. With a Home-Tech Service Agreement our Members receive same day service on HVAC and refrigerator repairs. And if the schedule permits other repairs will be same day too. And we provide a 2 hour service time frame for the technician to arrive. The convenience of this just cannot be beat!
Our Members can call 7 days a week, even on holidays up until 10:00 pm for an emergency. We are there when the oven isn’t working on Thanksgiving or when the AC goes out during a listing time period. We know having your AC up and running in SWFL is a necessity!
No Service Call Fee
Who wants to pay a service call fee? Do you want your clients to have to do that? Most of the national home warranty companies charge a standard service call fee of at least $75. With the Home-Tech Gold Service Agreement there is no charge for service call fee, parts or labor. Our Members get presented with a No Charge invoice each time the technicians come out for covered repairs.
It is included with a Home-Tech Service Agreement. National home warranty companies do not include it and leave it up to the homeowner to have to chase someone down to do it for them.
Ease of Payment Process
When one of your clients has a Service Agreement with Home-Tech they will not be charged for service call fee, parts or labor. With the national companies, sometimes you have to arrange your own contractor to come out. You pay for it and then have to go through a convoluted reimbursement process. It’s downright painful. Don’t put your clients through that!
We Only Use New Parts
We cover parts and labor and we only use new OEM parts. Many other companies use rebuilt or refurbished parts.
